SB Consulting has been engaged with ADB-funded L3713-MON: Southeast Gobi Urban and Border Town Development Project for provision of technical assistance and capacity building support targeting public utility companies of selected 5 aimags, namely Bulgan, Khuvsgul, Khentii, Sukhbaatar and Dundgobi. Under this assignment, our firm is mainly responsible for assessing the existing service quality, customer relations, organisational structure and financial conditions, subsequently proposing optimal reform of institutional and financial restructuring in relation to the new wastewater treatment plant operations. We implemented a theoretical and on-the-job capacity building training programme in achieving efficient water supply system, best business practices and innovative technology around the rural area respectively. As of now, we are proceeding at an accelerating pace proven by the suggested tariff increase plan and financial estimates, development of cost recovery plan, clean water hydraulic modelling and apparent capacity enhancement in the public utility companies.
